McDonalds kind gesture delights young Cork boy

A Cork mother says she was over-whelmed by the kindness of McDonalds to her young son.
Nicole son's Riley, who has autism and is non-verbal, had been collecting the Angry Birds toys that are issued with the McDonald's Happy meals and became distressed when he lost his favourite characters in the collection.
Nicole wrote to McDonalds head office in a bid to buy back the missing characters for the two-year-old and the next morning she woke up to a delivery of the entire collection from McDonalds.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Nicole says she had a Christmas morning moment in the middle of summer when Riley woke up:
