Medical card returned to Lucy O'Brien
The HSE has returned a medical card to a Cork two year old with Down Syndrome. It's after Lucy O'Brien's father Tim cycled to Leinster House two weeks ago to raise his concerns with the government. His campaign attracted national headlines and he's thanked everyone for their support. Lucy's medical card was taken away earlier this year But Tim has told Cork's RedFM that he's delighted that the decision has been reversed: (Click above for audio)
