Members of Fianna Fáil should resign over polling scandal, says Marc MacSharry

Members of Fianna Fáil should resign for their roles in a polling scandal, according to party TD Marc MacSharry.
It's after Fianna Fáil admitted party activists pretended they were market researchers to get the opinions of voters.
It says the strategy ended around 2007 - and Sinn Féin and Fine Gael say they carried out a similar practice.
The Data Protection Commissioner has already contacted Sinn Féin about the matter.
Deputy MacSharry says he's disgusted with his own party.
"I am very angry about this, as somebody who has tried to serve the people of Sligo, Leitrim, South Donegal and North Roscommon most recently.
"If this is common practice, it demands resignations.
"If it's not a breach of the law under current law, then it must be the subject of emergency legislation to make it such."
