Members Of M28 Steering Group Have Only A Few Days To Raise Funds For Judicial Review

An Bord Pleanála granted permission for the controversial motorway, despite the objections of locals
Members of the M28 Steering Group have only a number of days to raise the funds needed to apply for a judicial review into the proposed motorway.
An Bord Pleanála granted permission for the controversial motorway, despite the objections of locals in Douglas, Rochestown and the surrounding area who say they are concerned about noise, air pollution and congestion.
Almost 300 people turned out at a public meeting yesterday evening where the next steps in the campaign against the M28 were outlined.
Support for a judicial review among the crowd was overwhelming.
However it's now a battle against time as they must raise upwards of €100,000 for the challenge
Speaking to RedFM News, Labour Representative Peter Horgan says he believes locals opposed to the M28 will rise to the challenge
