Members of Aslan refused a state grant twice

They say performing live is how they earn income and the PUP isn't enough to cover the bills they face, since gigs were stopped for the last 15 months
Band member Billy McGuinness says they just want answers:
"We don't begrudge any of the acts or the promoters that got it, because they deserve it, we just want to know why we were refused. A generic letter was sent out to all of the acts and promoters, that didn't get it, and when we questioned it to try to try and appeal it we were told we couldn't that, that's it, sorry lads. And that's for the second time."
