Mercy Hospital Visiting Restrictions Lifted
Visiting restrictions at the Mercy University Hospital have been lifted and normal visiting arrangements have fully resumed.
The management at the hospital have praised staff for dealing effectively with the recent cases of influenza and have thanked the public for their cooperation.
The hospital continues to monitor the situation and people with flu-like symptoms are still being advised to telephone or visit their GPs, in the first instance, rather than presenting at the hospital's Emergency Department.
