Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for Cork
The warning becomes operational from 8pm tonight and will stay in effect until 6am tomorrow morning.
Met Eireann say winds will increase to 65 km/hr gusting up to 100 km/hr in places overnight and this could lead to debris on the roads tomorrow morning
Generally the weekend is set to be very wet with widespread heavy rain forecast
