Met Éireann Issue Status Orange Wind Warning For Ireland
The warning is valid from midnight tonight
Met Éireann have issued a status Orange wind warning for the country, valid from midnight tonight until 5am tomorrow.
Storm Georgina will track to the northwest of the country with winds between 65 and 80 km/h gusting to 120 km/h at times.
Winds will be strongest in West and Northwest counties and along the South East coast.
Rain will be widespread and heavy for a time tonight with the risk of spot flooding.
