UPDATE: Met Eireann Upgrade Cork Weather Alert to Status Orange
Forecasters say there’s potential for stormy conditions for the southwest of the country from tomorrow.
Met Eireann has released a Status Orange Wind Warning for Cork from 2pm tomorrow afternoon until 3am on Saturday morning
Forecasters say the weather will become stormy tomorrow evening and overnight as Storm Hannah moves in.
Southerly winds, will veering northwesterly and reach average speeds of 65-80 km/h with gusts of 110 to 130 km/h.
Cork City Council is advising listeners to be prepared for possible disruption and power outages
