Michelle Obama returns to Ireland

The US First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughters Malia and Sasha will arrive in Dublin today for a two-day visit. They'll visit Trinity College to explore her families' Irish ancestry, among whom is a former Provost at the University. She'll also visit the 18th century long room, and see the Book of Kells. A statement from Trinity says they're very much looking forward to her visit, which will strengthen the university's relations with the US. While in Dublin, Michelle Obama and her children will also see a special performance of Riverdance at the Gaiety. Her visit will also take in Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains National Park tomorrow. Co-owner of the Gaiety theatre, Caroline Downey Desmond, says she is looking forward to welcoming the guests: (Click above for audio)
