Microchipping is now compulsory for all dogs under new legislation.

September is National Microchipping month and under new regulations it is now compulsory to have your dog chipped.
As part of a nationwide awareness campaign dog owners across the country can avail of free microchipping at participating veterinary practices.
Cork dog owners are spoiled for choice with over 20 veterinary practices Leeside offering their services free of charge.
Numbers are limited so you are advised to check ncm.ie to find a practice nearest you to make an appointment to have your four legged friend chipped.
