Midleton Distillery opens €100 million expansion
The expansion of the Midleton Distillery has led to the creation of 60 new jobs. The Taoiseach attended the official opening of the €100 million project this afternoon. 30 positions have been added at the distillery in East Cork while a further 30 people have been hired at a bottling facility in Dublin. A €100 million storage site for the company is expected to open in Dungourney next year. Enda Kenny said it's a major boost for the area: (Click above for audio)
