'Mini-heatwave' on the way
Met Éireann is forecasting the good weather for next week.
The summer looks like it's finally here as temperatures are expected soar in to the high 20s next week.
Met Éireann is forecasting a 'mini-heatwave' with high pressure to the east keeping the rain at bay.
Temperatures may even reach 29 degrees in some parts.
But Meteorologist John Eagleton says this high pressure brings with it the risk of thundery showers.
