Mini heatwave to hit Cork this weekend
Temperatures are expected to soar up to 23 degrees Celcius.
Forecasters at Met Eireann are predicting warm weather until Wednesday which is expected to lead to people heading to their local beach to make the most of the nice weather.
Irish Water Safety is reminding people that lifeguards will not be in duty until bathing season at the beginning of June so they should only swim in designated bathing areas where there are safety ring buoys at hand.
