Minister for Children & Youth Affairs visits Cork projects
The Minister for Children and Youth Affairs is in Cork this afternoon.
Dr Katherine Zappone is visiting some of the projects around the city that received more than €2.4 million euro in funding from her office this year.
She is scheduled to visit the Cork Foyer Project around now, and later on this afternoon will be paying a visit to the Knocknaheeny Youth and Community Centre, the Churchfield Boxing centre of excellence and Meitheal Mara Boat Building on French's Quay.
During her visit she will be speaking to people working in childcare, training and other projects working with young people on the ground.
