Minister For Health Dismisses Claims Hospital Overcrowding Crisis Is Getting Worse
The INMO says this year has broken the record for the largest number of people waiting on trolleys.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, which compiles daily trolley numbers from hospitals, says more than 100,000 patients were waiting for beds in hospitals so far in 2018.
But Minister Simon Harris says the problem isn't getting worse:
