Minister For Transport Admits Bus Eireann Needs More Investment

The Minister for Transport has admitted that Bus Éireann will need more public investment in the coming years.
However, speaking in the Dail last night, Minister Shane Ross says he won't intervene in the current dispute between management and workers - because that's the job of the Labour Court.
Yesterday, Bus Eireann workers at the Unite union voted for industrial action over unilateral pay cuts - NBRU and SIPTU had already done so.
Minister Ross said Sean Lemass designed an industrial relations system, and he won't break it - but says the system will need more investment in future:
