Monitoring Of Cork's New All Night 220 Bus Service Following Delays

The 24hr service came into effect last Monday, January 14th
Bus Eireann and the National Bus and Rail Union have undertaken to monitor the 220 bus route from Ballincollig to Carrigaline which has been hit by delays since it became a 24-hour service...
The union claims the service infrastructure in Cork is not fit for purpose as bus drivers are coming under fire from passengers on the route over late buses...
The NBRU is urging the National Transport Authority, the Government and local authorities to deliver more bus lanes and priorities traffic lights for the buses on the route to allow the service to operate to the scheduled timetable..
Speaking to RedFM News Dermot O'Leary of the NBRU says the problems with the service do not lie with their drivers
