Mop up after Storm Barney under way
ESB repair crews have been out since first light across Cork
Hundreds of people were without power for a time in Cork yesterday as adverse weather conditions damaged parts of the ESB network.
ESB repair crews managed to get the majority of these customers back on the power grid before nightfall however 50 customers were left without power overnight in Kinsale, Mallow, Kildorrery and Kanturk
The ESB hope to have power restored to these customers by early to mid afternoon
Yesterday, Storm Barney swept across the country, with gale force winds and gusts of up to 125 kilometres per hour.
Speaking to RedFM News Jim Hernan of ESB Networks hopes that today's high winds won't affect their estimated repair times for customers
