More Children Report Feeling Pressured By School Work Than They Did 20 Years Ago

That's according to a new NUIG study

Thestudy has found that children aged between 10 and 17 say they "feel low" more often than the same age group did in 1998.

Less than a fifth of those reported having been drunk before, compared with a third 20 years ago.

Children's Minister Roderic O'Gorman says the report shows good progress in physical health but says more emphasis is needed to support the mental health of young people.
