More Cork housing estates join water metering protests
Protests against the installation of water meters have been gaining momentum across the city. A number of Carrigaline housing estates have formed blockades at their entrances and have rota systems in operation to ensure Irish Water are denied access. Cleveland housing estate is the latest to join the campaign after residents engaged in a stand off with members of Irish Water staff this morning who are due to begin works in the estate today..
