Mother Of 3 Says She's Afraid To Leave Her Mobile Home In Case Her Family Becomes Homeless

Emma O'Driscoll is currently residing in a mobile home in Beechfield estate in Fermoy

Residents in the area mounted a protest last Thursday when the mobile home was delivered to the site and say they don't want the area to turn into a halting site.

Speaking to RedFM News Emma says it's a scary situation for her whole family but she physically can't leave in case it's gone when she comes back:

Residents in the area are entering day seven of a peaceful protest next to the mobile home. 

An injunction hearing to remove the mobile home was adjourned yesterday until Friday as the County Council come under increasing pressure to remove the mobile home and house Emma and her family. 

In a statement to RedFM News the local authority say it's examining the options available to it in relation to resolving the issues that have arisen in the estate.
