Motion passed to ban animal act circuses from using public land

Cork County Council has passed a motion today to ban animal act circuses from using public land... ARAN and Animal Rescue Cobh are both welcoming the move and have described it as the latest step in their efforts to get animals out of Irish circuses.. Cork City Council passed a similar motion back in 2008 but never made it into by-laws but the groups are now hopeful that both Councils will now bring by-laws forward this year. Speaking to RedFM Kate McGroarty from Animal Rescue Cobh says the Councils were reacting to calls for the general public Click PLAY to hear audio
