Motorists hit out at works on Rochestown Road
They say the timing of the works is disastrous.
Listeners are up in arms over the ongoing roadworks on the Rochestown Road between Clarkes Hill and Coach Hill.
The Council says the works were delayed due to unforeseen "ground conditions" and only got underway on the 17th of August.
A spokesman told RedFM News that the works are on target to finish at the end of this week and says diversions are in place in an effort to minimise disruption.
However motorists say the situation has deteriorated this week due to the high volume of Back to School traffic and have described their morning commute as a nightmare.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Billy O'Regan who runs a beauty salon in Douglas says the timing of these works is disastrous.
