Motorists Urged To Check Their Vehicles
Motorists are being warned - that for every road fatality on Irish roads, two survivors have been left with permanent, serious disability. The message comes from the Gardai who are urging drivers to ensure they don't become a statistic on the roads this year. 14 people have lost their lives in fatal crashes in Cork so far this year and Friday has been identified as the most dangerous day on the roads. Gardai are appealing to drivers to keep their vehicles in road-worthy conditions particularly with the onset of winter weather.
