Motorists Urged To Take Care

Care is needed on the roads this morning sub zero temperatures overnight, has left some icy patches. It's currently minus 5 degrees in parts of Cork and the Road Safety Authority is warning drivers that it will take several hours for slippery roads to warm up fully. Pedestrians are advised to wear a high vis vest walking on footpaths and crossing only at pedestrian crossings - where there are no footpaths, you should walk facing oncoming traffic.
