Motorists Urged To Take Care As Snowfall Expected
Met Eireann is urging motorists to drive with caution from this evening, with snowfall expected to hit several parts of the country.
A snow-ice warning comes into effect from 6pm today lasting until tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile motorists Leeside are being advised to take extreme care this morning with reports of icy roads and patches of black ice across the city and county.
However Cork is expected to escape the worst of the bad weather this evening but all of Leinster and the counties of Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary and Waterford will be affected.
