Motorists Urged To Use Extreme Caution This Morning Following Torrential Rain Overnight

Fire Crews responded to reports of spot flooding at a number of places including the northring road, Blackpool, Douglas, and Turners Cross between 3am and 5am.
Units of the Fire Service from Ballyvolane and the Council were called to Sunday's Well Road at around 4am to deal with a large flood which subsided after debris was cleared from a number of drains .
The road is currently closed between Shanakiel Road and Thomas Davis Bridge to facilitate a clean up operation.
Martin O'Brien lives on Sunday's Well Road.
He told RedFM News that this mornings flood took residents by surprise:
