Murder investigation underway into deaths of Carlow brothers

A murder investigation is underway following the deaths of Eoghan and Ruairí Chada. The two young brothers, aged 10 and 5, were found dead following a car crash in Co. Mayo on Monday. They were last seen leaving their Co. Carlow home on Sunday night with their father. Gardaí have yet to speak to Sanjeev Chada - who is still being treated in hospital for minor injuries sustained in the collision.
