Musgraves issue statement following recruitment in Poland

Musgraves has issued a statement after being criticised for its decision to recruit staff in Poland.
The company says over the past two months they have been unsuccessful in their recruitment drives in Ireland for a number of open positions in their warehouse facilities in Kilcock, Co Kildare.
They say despite advertising for the positions in newspapers, and attending career fairs and local workshops for the unemployed they were unable to fill the positions.
In a statement issued to RedFM this lunchtime Musgraves say as a result they have arranged open days in Poland as the rate of applicants based in Ireland is low.
