New York residents fear the murder of a Muslim cleric and a friend outside a Mosque in Queens yesterday, may have been racially motivated.
The two men were shot in the head by a lone gunman who approached them from behind and opened fire at close range.
Police say the motive behind the shooting is not immediately known and they have no further evidence that the victims were targeted because of their faith.
