Nando's Mahon Point to host an autism friendly initiative tomorrow evening

The event will see the lights dimmed and the music lowered in order to create a nice calm atmosphere
A restaurant in Mahon Point is to host an autism friendly initiative tomorrow evening
Between 4.30pm and 6.30pm tomorrow Nando's will dim the lights and turn down the music in order to create a nice calm atmosphere in the dining area..
Management at Nandos Mahon Point hope that this will become a regular feature at their restaurant
It comes after Scally's Supervalu in Clonakilty became one of the first supermarkets in the country to hold an autism friendly shopping event by turning off the music, dimming the lights and turning off any loudspeaker announcements
The event proved to be such a great success and has become a regular event in the supermarket every Tuesday evening
