Neil Prendeville Show launches campaign - #fixshandonclock
The Neil Prendeville Show has launched a campaign to raise funds to repair the Shandon Clock.. It comes after the City Council says it doesn't have the necessary funds to fix the clock which hasn't worked for the past nine months.. 40,000 euro is needed for the repair, calls are already flooding into the Neil Prendeville Show with listeners as faraway as Boston wanting to give money to fix the clock. A bank account is currently being set up to allow listeners donate to the fund Taoiseach Enda Kenny was in the city on Friday and was quizzed by RedFM News about the iconic Cork symbol but he said no additional government funding will be secured to fix the four faced liar..
