New bike-share scheme launched in Cork

A new bike-share scheme has been launched in Cork. Public Transport Minister Alan Kelly has unveiled details of "Coke Zero Bikes" in three Irish cities. Cyclists will be able to use the bikes for either free or at a low cost and leave them at various docking stations around the city. 315 bikes will be available as part of the scheme which will be in operation from July next year. It comes ahead of the Rebel Pedal parade on Sunday which leaves Grand Parade at midday. Speaking to Cork's RedFM Darren McAdam O'Connell from the Cork Environmental Forum says cycling is all about fun: (Click above for audio)
