New Broadcasting Charge For Everyone
The Communications Minister says everyone will have to pay a new broadcasting charge - even if they don't own a television. The new fee will replace the TV licence and takes into account the fact that people now watch shows on smartphones or tablets. Pat Rabbitte says he's due to receive a report on how to implement the charge at the end of March.
