New Data Centres For Little Island To Create Hundreds Of Jobs Leeside
Cork has received a major boost with the announcement of €200 million in investment for the region.
Commercial property group JCD confirmed their plans to build a number of data centres on the outskirts of the city.
The centres are planned as part of the redevelopment of the former Mitsui Denman site in Little Island.
Hundreds of jobs are expected to come on stream as a result of the development, in particular at construction phase.
Cork Fianna Fail Councillor Ken O'Flynn says it's a major boost for the entire Cork region:
