New energy initiative officially launched Leeside

It will involve the gas being generated at Tramore Valley Park.

An energy initiative by Cork City Council which will see electricity from Tramore Valley Park being sold to an electricity supplier has been officially launched today. 

The scheme will work towards the council meeting its target to reduced energy consumption by 33% by the year 2020 as part of the National Climate Change policy.
