New fivers from Thursday!
New five euro notes will start appearing in your wallets from Thursday. It's the first phase of a number of changes across the euro-area to bank notes. While similar to the current fiver, the new note will have enhanced security features and some colour changes including an emerald green number colour. Original five euro bank notes will continue to be legal tender.
