New GE Healtcare facility will create up to 800 construction jobs

Over 800 construction jobs will be created in Cork by the new GE Healthcare development.
The new €150 million manufacturing campus was announced today.
GE Biopark Cork will be made up of four different biologics factories, which will be owned by independent biopharma companies.
Pending the granting of Planning permission - the building phase is expected to begin in the middle of 2017.
The project is expected to be completed in 18 months once the sod has been turned on the site.
