A new initiative is looking to improve mobile phone coverage in Cork.
The Echo report that the Get Connected campaign, which is backed by telecoms infrastructure operators Cellnex, is looking to improve coverage in parts of Cork that need it most.
The initiative encourages communities to request a review of their mobile phone coverage to assess whether or not a solution can be found.
The campaign has been running across other counties since May.
