New initiative to provide support to Cork's cancer survivors

It's hoped a new initiative being rolled out in Cork will provide support to cancer survivors Leeside.
According to recent figures almost 140,000 people have survived the disease in Ireland and the new plan which was launched in the city today is expected to enhance support services in the coming years.
The new cancer prevention action plan by Cork Cancer Action Network is focused on prevention and early detection through means of a community approach.
