New Mental Health Scheme To Launch in Cork

Schools and organisations that promote positive mental health are to be recognised for their work. The Amber Flag scheme is being piloted in Cork and is based on the Green Flag scheme for schools. Special flags will be awarded to organisations that work towards promoting positive mental health. It incorporates all areas of mental health including cyber bullying and internet safety. The Amber Flag scheme is being launched this afternoon in the Rochestown Park Hotel by Ombudsman for Children Emily Logan. The project is being launched by Suicide Aware in association with Cork's RedFM, The Institute of Guidance Counsellors and Cork GAA.
