New Owners of Whitegate Refinery say they are committed to the workforce

Irving Oil, the new owners of Whitegate Oil Refinery in East Cork says they are committed to the company, the jobs and the local community.
The facility is Ireland's only oil refinery, and the 160 strong workforce feared for their jobs before the Canadian company announced the purchase of the site in August.
Iriving Oil's purchase was welcomed by locals, as the company announced they would be continuing full operation at the plant, and maintaining it's existing workforce.
President of Irving Oil Ian Whitcomb told RedFM News that he has great confidence in the local workforce.
