New plan in the pipeline to promote Mallow town

The initiative is being led by two business groups in the area.
A new initiative is in the pipeline in Mallow in a bid to try and promote the town.
Spearheaded by Mallow Development Partnership and Mallow Chamber the initiative will also include input from community representatives and local councillors.
A number of cultural and tourism projects are currently being worked on which could have a major impact on the town if they come to fruition.
These include a new greenway and new recreational area on Mallow Castle lands.
Under a recent government announcement Mallow could now be a beneficiary of new Hub town funding.
Speaking to RedFM News, Chair of the Mallow Development Partnership John McDonnell outlines some of the structures of the new initiative.
