As part of the service, a family support worker and a child support worker will work with families of inmates
A new prison visiting service is to be introduced in Cork Prison
The plan was put forward by the Irish Prison Service who hopes to provide a hospitable, safe and supportive environment for children and families of prisoners.
As part of the service, a family support worker and a child support worker will work with families of inmates.
The project is expected to operate from Monday to Saturday.
