New Research Warns Pregnant Women Against Vaping

Pregnant women are being warned it is not safe to vape.

A new study from the University of Technology in Australia has found the children of mothers who use e-cigarettes during pregnancy are at an increased risk of developing asthma.

The authors say action is needed to remove the false impression that e-cigarettes are safe and effective ways of quitting smoking.

They say vaping exposes people to toxic compounds and the availability of different cigarette flavours has the potential to create a dangerously addictive concoction leading to unwanted health outcomes.
