Nine Cork landmarks have been included in Ireland's Ancient East

It's hoped to encourage people to stay and explore Cork
Failte Ireland have unveiled the first phase of its orientation signage at locations including Fota House, The Jameson Experience, Blackrock Castle and Fitzgeralds Park.
Shaped as a large spiral wheel, each branded sign highlights a range of sites within an hours drive from the sign location, in order to encourage visitors to extend their stay and visit more than just the primary sites.
Similar branded signs are expected to be in place at 80 different sites in the coming weeks.
Speaking to RedFM News Project Co-Ordinator for Failte Ireland Rory Dean says it will encourage overseas visitors to explore Cork rather than use is as a gateway between Ireland's Ancient East and the Wild Atlantic Way.
