No More Bond for Mendes
Sam Mendes has turned down the chance to make the next Bond film. The Oscar winner, who was praised for his work directing Daniel Craig as 007 in Skyfall, has described it as a very difficult decision. He told Empire Magazine that despite it being one of his best experiences he wants to devote time to his work in the theatre. He's involved in productions of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and King Lear.
