No swim warning in place at three beaches

A no swim warning is in place for three Cork Beaches.

Water quality samples taken at Fountainstown, Garryvoe and Sandycove beaches on Tuesday showed up elevated levels of bacteria that make them unsafe for bathing.

It's thought the poor water quality is related to the recent heavy rainfall.

Cork County Council say the situation will be reviewed with the HSE in the coming days.
