Northside of the city hit by reduced water pressure

Residents on the northside of the city are continuing to experience water disruptions following a serious break in a trunk water main in the city yesterday The City Council is carrying out essential engineering works this afternoon to repair the broken main and will endeavour to have water supply at a reduced pressure to the areas affected while works are on-going. Yesterday water was out in large parts of the northside for over 5 hours as engineers worked on the problem.. Areas affected today include Tivoli Estate, Glenthorn, Lover’s Walk, Old Youghal Road, Middle Glanmire Road and Liffey Park..
